Ahmeek – Barbara K. Kezele 88, passed away at the Canal View Houghton County on Friday April 11, 2025.  She was a daughter of Matt and Katherine Kezele and grew up in Ahmeek.  She lived with her parents at the family home until their passing.  Barbara lived at the Old Apostolic Home for the Aged, Stillwaters, Jan Antilla Home in Hubbell, Mary Thomas House in Atlantic Mine, and for the past eleven years Canal View Houghton County.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Michael.  She is survived by her brother Robert (JoAnn) Kezele of Mohawk, nieces Theresa, Lisa, Cindy (Chuck) Books and nephew Michael (Jenny) along with numerous cousins.  A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Tuesday, April 15th at 11 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Church with Fr. Gracious to officiate.  Visitation at the Church one hour prior to Mass.  Ryan Funeral Home is serving the family.  Graveside Services are scheduled for Tuesday, May 13th at 11 a.m. at the Ahmeek Cemetery.
