Frederick James Bardo of Ahmeek, Michigan passed away on October 23, 2023 at the age of 85 in Allendale, Michigan.  Fred was born on September 15, 1938 to James and Taimi Barda. He was married to Charmaine Paulson for 50 years.  A beloved husband, father, and grandfather, he is survived by his wife Charmaine, sons Timothy, Paul (Katye) grandchildren Paul and Lily, John (grandson John) and daughter Charmaine (Steve) Veenman grandchildren Bella and Emma.  Fred was a person who always wanted to learn new things. Over the years some of his favorite hobbies were hunting, fishing and playing chess.  A private burial will be held at Ahmeek Cemetery on Saturday October 28.  Ryan Funeral Home is serving the family.
