Garett Chopp 26, passed away unexpectedly on December 22, 2020,  He was born on November 8, 1994 in Lansing to Dennis and Cynthia (Wolker) Chopp.  He attended Grand Ledge High School where he was actively involved in playing basketball and soccer.  Garett graduated in 2013.  He worked numerous jobs but his favorite thing was finishing drywall.  Garett will be remembered for his kind loving spirit and his ability to easily connect with others and become friends.  He was always willing to help in someone in need and was the best son and brother.  He is survived by his mother Cynthia (Daniel) Wolker-Pung; father Dennis Chopp,; siblings Lauren Renee Chopp  and Gabriel Patrick Chopp; aunts, Roberta Housholder and Terri (Rob) Lang; uncles Gary (Vanessa) Chopp, Kevin (Kelly) Chopp, Robert (Laura) Chopp and Greg (Lisa) Chopp along with numerous cousins.  A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at the Gerard Catholic Church with Rev. FR.  John .  Burial is scheduled for Friday May 21, 2021 at the Lake View Cemetery at 12::30 p.m. immediately following his uncle, Florian Rauch Funeral Mass and burial.
