Gina Marie Bregar

Gina M. Bregar of Laurium, was called home to heaven on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at the age of 58. She was born in Libertyville, Illinois on December 6, 1964 to Ralph and Pauline (Kristapovich) Bregar. Gina graduated from Calumet High School and attended Suomi College. Gina loved spending time with her family, friends, and her cat, Brittany. She was a fashionista, enjoyed going for walks, and had a great sense of humor. Gina is survived by her sisters: Sue (Gary) Brown of Laurium and Kathy (Jim) Greenfield of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin; nieces and nephews: Bill Brown, Eric Brown, Erin (Scott) Rivers, Alayna (Taylor) Olson, Brianna Greenfield; great nieces and nephews: Trevor Brown, Kaya and Everly Olson, Clyde and Eli Rivers; special cousin: Larry (Mary Jo) Kristapovich; special uncle: Paul (Jane) Kristapovich; and many other relatives and friends. Gina was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral arrangements are pending. The family would like to express sincere thanks to all the caregivers that provided such wonderful care to Gina.  Graveside services are scheduled for Tuesday, May 16th, 2023 at 11 a.m. in the Lake View Cemetery.
