Gordon Kenneth Huot Obituary

Gordon Kenneth Huot, 86, of Calumet, Michigan passed away at Aurora Bay Care Hospital in Green Bay, Wisconsin on Saturday, March 9, 2024.  Gordon was born in Laurium, MI to Thomas and Genevieve Huot.  He graduated in 1956 from Sacred Heart High School.  Gordon served in the United States Army for four years and was extremely proud to be called a veteran.  He worked for over 40 years as a produce manager for Fraki's in Calumet.  He loved his job and enjoyed visiting wih all the locals.  Gordon was a devout member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church.  He loved working on his search a word books Yahtzee.  Gordon was preceded by his parents, brothers Jerome and Donald, sisters Bernice Manninen and Rita Wiinamaki, also a dear nephew Todd Wiinamaki.  He is survived by nieces and nephews Larry Manninen, Roxanne (Don) Maki, Sandy (Wayne) Jarvi, Kurt (Mary), John (Jan), Tim (Wendy) and Jess (Christine) Wiinamaki along with numerous great nieces and nephews.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 18th at 11 a.m. at the St. Paul the Apostle Church with Fr Gracous to officiate.  Graveside interment services are scheduled for Thursday May 30th in Section C-2 at 11 a.m. in the Lake View Cemetery.
