Janet (Rappana) Meadows

Calumet – Janet Meadows 86, passed away in Osseo, Minnesota on Tuesday, June 15th.  She was born in Laurium, a daughter of Wallace and Helen Rappana and attended local schools.  Janet worked as an antique dealer and appraiser for antiquities for twenty years.  She owned the Oak Tree Store in the Copper Country Mall.  She had spent the last twenty years living in Minnesota.  She was preceded in death by a daughter Elaine Keenan and a sister Judy Dewan.  She is survived by her brother Robert of Canton, MI, and daughter Deborah Meadows of Calumet.  She is also survived by grandchildren Brian Gruber, Cara Kahn, and Faye Buell and great-grandchildren Alexis, Samantha, Julia and Baily.  Funeral service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at the Ryan Funeral Home with Pastor Jared Howard to officiate.  Burial will be in the Lake View Cemetery.
