Calumet – Marc S. Foissotte age 65, formerly of Laurium , passed away on Friday, February 5 2021 at the Canal View Houghton County.  He had been a resident there for ten years.  He was born in Waukegan, Illinois, a son of Perry and Mary Carr and spent most of his life in California.

He and brother Douglas suffered from muscular dystrophy.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Philip and Douglas.  He is survived by brothers Paul of San Carlos, California, Barry of Laurium, and a sister Denette Weatherly of Portland, Oregon.  He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church.  Graveside services will be held in the spring at the Ahmeek Cemetery.  Ryan Funeral Home is serving the family.
