Obituary
Calumet -Marilyn Ann Kivela age 83, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at the Desert Garden Assisted Living in Phoenix, Arizona. She was the oldest daughter of the late Bernard and Marcella Rota. Marilyn graduated from Calumet High School in 1957. Her career was always in secretarial work. Marilyn and her husband Ronald moved to Carlsbad, New Mexico in 1960 and after her husband passed away she moved to Phoenix, Arizona. Marilyn is survived by one sister, Gloria Peterson of Sheboygan Wisconsin and three brothers, Gerald Rota of Fulton, MI; James Rota of Fulton, MI; and Robert (Pat) Rota of Englewood, CO. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ronald, sister-in-law Judy Rota and brother-in-law Donald Peterson. A memorial service in the spring will be held in Lake View Cemetery in Calumet, MI. Ryan Funeral Home is serving the family.
