Calumet -Mary E. Gravitter 93, of Calumet, Michigan passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 in Tucson, Arizona.  She was born in Calumet, Michigan to William and Mina (Echline) Dwyer on March 18, 1926.  She attended the Calumet schools and worked for many years in the bookkeeping office at Vertin's Department Store in Calumet.  After her retirement, she spent part of each year in Tucson with family.

Preceding Mary in death are her husband Robert (Bob, Besz) Gravitter, her parents, her sister Clair (Dwyer) Shute, and two brothers, Robert Dwyer and Clarence Dwyer.  Mary is survived by her sister Shirley (Dwyer) Abele, brother-in-law Bernard Shute, and nieces Terri Drielick, Susan Lazzaretto, and Lisa Mabey, and nephew William D. Dwyer.  

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 18th at the Ryan Funeral Home.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 19th at Sacred Heart Church in Calumet.
