Nancy (Lenich) Hermeler

Las Vegas – Nancy Jean Hermeler (Lenich) age 64, passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022 in Las Vegas, Nevada where she resided with her husband John.  Nancy was born in Laurium on June 12, 1957 to Ruth and Clarence Lenich of 121 Florida Street.  She attended Calumet High School and was a member of the Calumet High School Band, under John Lehto, she played both Cornet and French Horn.  Nancy graduated with the Class of 1976.  She went on to receive a Business degree from Northern Michigan University and made her career with the Veterans Administration, first in North Hills, California and later in Phoenix, Arizona.  Nancy and John loved to travel, they spent a year in Den Helder, Netherlands and traveled extensively throughout Europe.  Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and her great-niece Eva Christine Khatami.  She is survived by her husband John, sister Mary Senecal, nieces Molly and Anna Senecal, great-nieces Shelby Khatami and Eleanor Campbell, and great-nephews DJ Khatami.  Nancy was a wife, daughter, sister, aunt, great-aunt cousin and friend.  She will be missed.  Interment will be in Lake View Cemetery on Saturday June 11, 2022 at 11 a.m. in Section B-2.
