Paris, Illinois – Ronald J. Costelic 86, passed away on Wednesday July 8th, at his home in Paris, Illinois following illness. He was born in Calumet on February 5, 1934 a son of John and Leona (Christle) Costelic and graduated from Calumet High School in 1951. Ronald served in the U.S. Army and the Michigan National Guard. He was a graduate of Northern Michigan University and Indiana State University. He was employed with the Social Security Administration for over thirty years. He is survived by children Janet Costelic (John) Pennington and Michael (Judy) Costelic; grandchildren Amy Phillips (Jeremy) Pych, Aaron Phillips, Andrew Pennington, Haley Costelic; and great-grandchildren Elaine and Alexander Pych, Ryan, Grady, and Owen Phillips, Madisyn, Braylon and Ashlyn Costelic. Also surviving are nephews Jimmy, David and Ken Walters, and Brian Costelic and nieces Tara Costelic, (god-daughter) Susan Massoglia Jukuri, Patti and Mary K Massoglia. He was preceded in death by wife Marilyn Costelic. Graveside Services are scheduled for 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 25th in the Lake View Cemetery with Fr. Gracious Pulimoottil and CCVA to officiate .
