Calumet – Shirley Ann Bracco age 87. passed away on Wednesday, February 19th at the Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital.  She was born in Detoit, Michigan on November 24, to Roman and Cecilia Kowalski.  She came from a large loving family which included sixteen siblings.  Shirley’s pride and joy were her children Nancy (Kurt) Meunier, Steven Yowell, Donnie Hatala, Ted Hatala and Tony (Jen) Hatala.  She was very creative and had a passion for crafting.  She is preceded in death by her husband Paul, son Donnie, and her sixteen siblings.  Per Shirley’s request, there will be no memorial service, but a celebration of life at a later date.  Ryan Funeral Home is serving the family.
